2.22 First Anniversary
Its been a year since we moved to the new house. I decided not to do any work for the next one year on the same day on 2007. Today its coming to an end, need to think what to do next now. With 1/4 EMI over by today I still have 3 more Loans to finish in next 3 years.
Its strange, even though I took 399 pictures of my house getting built I still do not have a picture of my completed house to make it 400. I am planning to take it tomorrow morning :-) till then here's the rest of 399.

Quarter Of A Century
Today I just realized that I am a quarter of a century OLD. Oh yeah just another way to say how young I am !
But, that a lot of time !! What have I done so far ? What will I do in the next quarter (Oh yeah I work in IT) ?
That much amount of time makes me think a lot.

The Motorcycle Diary
Today, when I was passing by my school my tyer got flat. I first tried to call my home, on the 2nd ring the cut down the phone because I realized that was not the solution to my problem (so do not want to waste some money on that call :-). Then I called office to inform that I will be late to office and asked some to take care in my absence. There was Australia vs India match running in my head (in short I was totally confused of what to do next) as I had many ideas. What do you do in such a situation....... call your friend :-)
I called my friend Anupam, The conversation went some thing like this.....
Anupam: Tell me Birthday Boy...
Selva: Hey, where are you?
Anupam: I am going to AMD. (his dance class)
Selva: Where exactly are you now?
Anupam: I am near Rajarathinam Stadium (1 km from where I am)
Selva: My tyre is flat
Anupam: Where are you?
Selva: I am close to our school (Our school was just opposite to each other, but we know each other only from our college days)
Anupam: Before my school there is a bakery.. (he is referring "before" as in "ahead of")
Selva: There is a bakery only after your school which is actually before my school.. (I am referring "before" as in "front of")
Anupam: Yeah.. Yeah... after my school.
Selva: !?
Anupam: Go to the bakery and say that your tyre got flat. He will take care of the rest.
Selva: Bakery !!!!
Anupam: Dude, YES. I just did that few minutes ago :-)
What has happened few minutes ago was amazing, Anupam has passed through the same place where his tyre got flat. The man in the bakery has seen this and have called his friend who has a mechanic shop who fixes flat tyres and he has come over to fix it. Surprisingly the same thing happened to me just in a span of few minutes :-) in the same place.
The bigger picture is, of the few thousand automobiles that passed that road that day it so happened that two bikes went flat at the same place, to add to it both of then knew each other. now thats a good short story :-)
